An X-Prize finalist, C4X is incorporated in both Canada and China. Its technology converts CO2 into chemicals and plastics. It is now in the commercial pilot state, with customers that are manufacturers of plastics, lithium-ion batteries, and automotive parts. The fact that it is in the lithium-ion market bodes well for C4X with the growing demand due to rising sales of electric vehicles. C4X is seeking corporate investment in order to scale up its technology. Its main focus is China, where it has partnered with the country’s largest cement maker and also power companies. But it is also looking to expand in North America. In Canada, C4X has partnered with Ford Motor Company of Canada and Walkerville Brewery.
