Claire Langley is Managing Director of Policy and Research at Climate Advisers, focusing on international climate & energy policy and diplomacy, international political climate change strategy, and the sustainable development agenda.
Before joining Climate Advisers, Claire served as a Research Associate in the Global Economy and Development program at the Brookings Institution, where her research focused on climate change and energy policy, green growth and innovation, climate finance and climate economics.
Claire’s experience includes extensive research and analysis on international climate policy and multilateral processes at London-based climate and energy think tank E3G: Third Generation Environmentalism. Her diverse portfolio there included projects to build political support for climate action, create low carbon development plans in emerging economies, explore innovative market-based climate solutions, and build civil society coalitions for stronger policies.
