Gwynne Taraska

Gwynne Taraska is the Director of Policy and Research, focusing on international climate and environmental policy and diplomacy.

Taraska was previously the Director of International Climate Policy at the Center for American Progress, where she developed a portfolio on topics including U.S. nonfederal climate diplomacy, international climate finance, international ocean diplomacy, North American climate cooperation, the Paris Agreement and the legal authority for U.S. participation, climate negotiations in the G-20, shadow carbon pricing, and loss and damage.

She has a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, where she specialized in symbolic logic.
