Zach Drennen is Communications Manager with Climate Advisers, and provides nimble strategic communications for clients and coalitions, while building the organization’s reach and branding. He has experience with press for political campaigns, think tanks, and advocacy organizations.
Most recently, Zach served on the Advance Team for Hillary for America, working as the press lead for campaign events with Secretary Hillary Clinton, President Bill Clinton, Senator Tim Kaine, and other high-profile surrogates. On the campaign, he worked with various stakeholders to scout, plan, and execute high-profile events with anywhere from 50 to 15,000 attendees. During those events Zach worked with international, national, and local reporters to stage press availability including television, print, and radio interviews.
Zach was previously Legislative and PAC Associate at the League of Conservation Voters, a Washington-based environmental advocacy organization, where he worked as policy lead for clean energy, coal ash, and pipeline issues, helped produce the National Environmental Scorecard, and helped run the federal candidate endorsement process.
